An indispensable substrate

Although tape is small, it plays an indispensable role in various fields, and all of this is inseparable from its high-quality raw materials. There are various types of raw materials for adhesive tape, each of which plays a key role in the performance of the tape.
1. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) film: This is a common adhesive tape substrate with good flexibility, water resistance, and chemical stability. It is lightweight and easy to process, and can adapt to various complex usage scenarios. In packaging tape, PVC film, with its excellent tensile properties, can tightly adhere to the packaged object and provide a strong encapsulation effect; In the industrial field, its chemical corrosion resistance makes it suitable for some work scenarios with special environmental requirements.
2. Polyester (PET) film: PET film has high strength and transparency, as well as excellent heat and cold resistance. It has excellent mechanical properties and is not easily deformed, so it is widely used in electronic tape. For example, in the manufacturing process of electronic devices, adhesive tape needs to maintain stable performance under different temperature conditions. Adhesive tape made of PET film can meet this requirement, ensuring precise fixation of electronic components and stability of circuit connections.
3. Paper substrate: Paper substrate usually has good breathability and printability, and its environmental performance is also outstanding. Common ones include kraft paper, textured paper, etc. Cowhide paper is tough and commonly used for heavy-duty packaging tape, capable of withstanding significant tensile forces; Meiwen paper, due to its unique texture and moderate viscosity, is commonly used for masking and protection in fields such as painting and decoration. When painting walls, Meiwen paper tape can accurately divide areas to prevent paint from contaminating areas that do not need to be painted.
